To be a catalyst for smarter decisions that balance financial return with real-world impact.
Help mission-driven teams make clear, data-backed choices—across finance, strategy, and operations.
To bring clarity, structure, and momentum to organizations solving social and ecological challenges.
We believe good strategy is clear, actionable, and deeply aligned with purpose. Social innovation needs more than ideas—it needs sound execution, solid numbers, and smart questions. That’s where we come in.
At C³, impact isn't an afterthought — it's built into how we operate.
1. Pro Bono Advisory
We dedicate 3 hours each week to provide strategic consulting to early-stage organizations and initiatives aligned with our mission. That’s 12 hours each month committed to supporting changemakers working on high-impact, often underfunded challenges.
2. Profit with Purpose
Once C³ reaches financial stability — defined as drawing a fair salary of at least $120K — we commit 30% of net profits to fueling work that aligns with our values:
3. Knowledge in Motion
We believe insights should travel. C³ regularly shares tools, templates, and strategies that simplify finance and strategy for social impact leaders. Through blogs, open resources, and public learning spaces, we aim to demystify complexity — and help others act with clarity and confidence.
This commitment is reviewed annually to ensure it remains financially sustainable and true to our purpose as we grow.
Founder & Principal, Chi Catalyst Consulting Inc. (C³)
Chirag Gehani, CPA, founded Chi Catalyst Consulting Inc. (C³) to help purpose-driven teams make smarter financial and strategic decisions.
Originally from Dubai, with Indian roots, he moved to Canada to study Civil Engineering at Carleton. That engineering mindset—systems thinking, structure, and clarity—still shapes his work today.
After earning his CPA while at Canada Post, Chirag supported investment decisions across national logistics and infrastructure projects. At the Bank of Canada, he brought that same lens to enterprise IT governance—tying multi-year funding to clear roadmaps, improving forecast accuracy, and tightening decision-making through stronger governance processes. In that role, he advised on over $50 million in projects, ensuring better alignment, accountability, and long-term value.
Over time, he saw a pattern: good ideas often stall without the financial clarity to move forward. He founded C³ to change that.
Now based in Chelsea, QC, he partners with clients working at the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and equity—translating complexity into clarity, and helping them act with focus and intention.
